Day 01

Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport by our representative and transfer to Galle.

Galle to Mirissa

Day 02

After having breakfast from the hotel visit to the Galle Dutch Fort

  • Galle Dutch Fort

Visit the historic town of Galle and the 17th century Dutch Fort, a UNESCO-protected World Heritage site. Walk around the Galle Fort’s narrow streets lined with Dutch and British colonial-era buildings that are still in use.

After visiting Galle Fort transfer to Mirissa Beach.

  • Visit coconut tree hill in Mirissa (Duration 45 min)
  • Visit stilt fishermen & fishmarket in Weligama.

On the Beach Mirissa

Day 03

Mirissa situated a couple of kilometers beyond Weligama on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It was formerly the island’s most famous “undiscovered” beach. Srilanka’s most exciting wildlife attraction – whales especially Blue whales, Bryde’s whale, Sperm whale, Fin whale (December – April) can be seen just a few kilometers offshore. You can swim and also snorkel here. Snorkeling safaris, sport fishing, sea kayaking, cruises around the bay and beyond, surf lessons can be arranged.

Mirissa to Yala

Day 04

After visit Mirissa drives to the Evening safari at the Yala National Park and enjoy the wildlife and stunning nature.

  • Yala National Park Evening Safari

Yala National Park is with light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons spread around 130,000 hectares of protected land. Only 2 out of 5 blocks are open for the visitors. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 species of birds. Safari here is considered as an essential activity during the visit.

Yala to Ella

Day 05

After having breakfast from the hotel transfer to Ella

  • Visit the Ravana Ella waterfalls.
  • Little Adam’s Peak (Duration: 1 Hour).
  • Nine Arch Bridge (Duration: 1 Hour).

Ella to Nuwara Eliya By Train

Day 06

After having the breakfast transfer to the train.

Train journey starting from Ella (9.24 AM) to Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya Train Station) and enjoy the Picturesque stunning views with nature. (Duration – 2.5 Hours)

Pick up from Nanuoya Train Station with luggage and transfer to Nuwara Eliya

Sightseeing tour in Nuwara Eliya town and English countryside atmosphere, feel free to walk around Lake Gregory and for some water sports.

Nuwara Eliya to Kandy

Day 07

After having breakfast, drive through the scenic mountains in the tea-producing town of Nuwara Eliya to Kandy

En-route visit a tea plantation and a working Tea Factory to see the manufacturing process, tea store.

Visit Kandy and attractions around

  • Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya (Duration: 1 Hour).
  • Kandy View Point.
  • Temple of the Tooth and the ceremony (Duration: 1 Hour).

This temple was built between the years if 1687 to 1707 by the Kandyan Kings present at the time. It houses a tooth that belonged to ‘Lord Buddha.

  • Visit the cultural dance performance in the evening (Duration: 1 Hour).

Kandy to Airport

Day 08

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the Airport via Pinnawala with en-route sightseeing.

  • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage(the world’s largest collection of captive elephants).                  

This was set up to save abandoned or orphaned wild elephants and to prevent them from extinction (Especially tuskers). This is the only place in Sri Lanka where you can see many elephants in closed quarters

Transfer to the airport for departure.

Colombo Airport to Negombo

Day 01

Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport by our representative and Enjoy a guided city tour of Colombo before heading to Negombo. 

Transfer to Negombo, Sri Lanka’s ‘Little Rome’, this beach town located just a few kilometers away from the Airport. Negombo town offers an interesting introduction to coastal Sri Lankan life, with fish markets, fishing ports, colorful wooden boats, churches, and lagoons.

Evening relax at the beach and enjoy the night.

Negombo to Sigiriya

Day 02

After having breakfast, transfer to Sigiriya. The cultural triangle of Sri Lanka.

Break for refreshments /Lunch on the way. (As applicable)

  • Visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple (Duration: 1 Hour) situated at the edge of the town. It is one of the eight UNESCO world heritage sites in the country and you may find Buddhist arts with hundreds of statues, 5 major caves decorated with fine murals in the country.
  • Safari tour to visit the large gathering of elephants in the Minneriya NP or Kaudulla NP.

Evening Safari – 2.30 PM to 6.00 PM

Sigiriya to Kandy

Day 03

After having the breakfast, climb up to the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Sigiriya rock fortress this morning (Duration: 3 Hours). This ancient rock fortress is the most remarkable royal capital and palace in Sri Lanka from the 3rd century BC. This rock outcrop of Sigiriya is with Amazing water gardens, Paintings, Damsels, Mirror walls and Caves.

Continue your journey to Kandy with en-route stops.

  • Privet village tour including traditional SriLankan lunch(Duration: 2 Hours).
  • Visit an exotic Spice Garden in Matale where that you can enjoy the Spice & herbal garden tour with a guide to understand the taste and the aroma of the world-famous spices and learn about the therapeutic uses of local spices and also to see their store.
  • Visit the Batik factory to see the ancient art of dyeing clothes. 
  • Visit the Hindu Temple at Mathale.

Arrive in the Hill country capital Kandy, the last independent capital of the Sinhalese is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kandy to Ella via Nuwara Eliya

Day 04

Ella to Lipton Seat

Day 05

Lipton’s Seat gains its name from the 19thcentury Scottish entrepreneur Sir Thomas Lipton; who bought several tea plantations during the British Colonization Era. The plantations yielded tons of high quality branded tea under his careful care; and became a flourishing tea empire. Lipton’s Seat is the place that Sir Lipton used to oversee his plantations. Once you get there you will be able to have a fantastic view of the distant Uva, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Eastern provinces.

Lipton’s Seat using the Dambathenne Tea Estate route, and stop by the Dambathenne Tea Factory. There you will be taken on a tour of the place so that you can see how the raw tea leaves become a packeted product that can be used to create flavorful Ceylon Tea.

Ella to Yala

day 06

After having breakfast from the hotel visit,

Day 08

Weligama beach is ideal for novice surfers and many independent travelers learn to ride their first waves here. After fun in the ocean, you can marvel at (and feast on) the denizens of the deep, who end their days being hacked up and sold from roadside fish stalls.

Weligama to Galle

Day 09

After breakfast from the hotel transfer to Galle to visit the Galle Dutch Port & some interesting destinations.

Sri Lanka’s One of the most lovely beach is in Unawatuna, Galle, for snorkeling and swimming. The jungle beach tour will be a memorable one. Galle fort tour and visit to the naval museum and many more historic attractions in Galle Fort.

Seeing the sunset by sitting at the Gall Fort is interesting here.

Tour to Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery or a boat ride to see the beautiful Sri Lankan coral gardens is a highlight of this trip

Galle to Airport via Colombo

Day 10

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Colombo for the city tour and to the Airport.

  • Colombo City Tour

Visit the Gangaramaya Temple, Manning Market, Pettah and Fort area, Old Parliament Building, BMICH, Independent Square, Townhall, and Lotus Pond.

This city tour depending on the flight times.

The airport will only take one hour from Colombo.

Transfer to the airport for departure.
