Colombo Airport to Habarana

Day 01

Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport by our representative and transfer to Habarana.

Break for refreshments /Lunch on the way. (As applicable)

Visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple (Duration: 1 Hour) situated at the edge of the town. It is one of the eighth UNESCO world heritage sites in the country and you may find Buddhist arts with hundreds of statues, 5 major caves decorated with fine murals in the country.

Overnight stay in Habarana.

Polonnaruwa Ancient City & Evening Safari

Day 02

After having breakfast, transfer (1 Hour) to the Polonnaruwa ancient city visit(Duration: 2 Hours). Polonnaruwa (UNESCO world heritage site) is one major highlight of the cultural triangle and enjoyed a brief century of Sinhalese kingdom, 12th century.

After visit Polonnaruwa transfer to Minneriya or Kaudulla NP for the evening safari to visit the large gathering of elephants.

Evening Safari – 2.30 PM to 6.00 PM

Habarana to Kandy

Day 03

After having the breakfast, climb up to the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Sigiriya rock fortress this morning (Duration: 3 Hours). This ancient rock fortress is the most remarkable royal capital and palace in Sri Lanka from the 3rd century BC. This rock outcrop of Sigiriya is with Amazing water gardens, Paintings, Damsels, Mirror walls and Caves.

Continue your journey to Kandy with en-route stops.

  • Village tour including traditional SriLankan lunch (Duration: 2 Hours – Optional).
  • Visit an exotic Spice Garden in Matale where that you can enjoy the Spice & herbal garden tour with a guide to understand the taste and the aroma of the world-famous spices and learn about the therapeutic uses of local spices and also to see their store.
  • Visit the Batik factory to see the ancient art of dyeing clothes. 

Arrive in the Hill country capital Kandy, the last independent capital of the Sinhalese is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Cultural dance performance in the evening (Duration: 1 Hour).

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya & Ella By Train

Day 04

After having the breakfast visit to the Kandy town,

  • Kandy View Point
  • Temple of the Tooth and the ceremony (Duration: 1 Hour)

This temple was built between the years of 1687 to 1707 by the Kandyan Kings present at the time. It houses a tooth that belonged to ‘Lord Buddha.

  • Kandy Lake, Vegetable & Fruit Market.
  • Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya (Duration: 1 Hour).

After visiting the Kandy city, drive through the scenic mountains to the tea-producing town of Nuwara Eliya. En-route visit a tea plantation and a working Tea Factory to see the manufacturing process, tea store.

Tea break at the factory/Lunch on the way. (As applicable)

Sightseeing tour in Nuwara Eliya town and English countryside atmosphere, feel free to walk around Lake Gregory and for some water sports.

Train journey starting from Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya Train Station) to Ella and enjoy the Picturesque stunning views with nature.

Ella to Yala

Day 05

After having breakfast from the hotel visit,

  • Little Adam’s Peak (Duration: 1 Hour).
  • Nine Arch Bridge (Duration: 1 Hour).

After visit Ella drive to the Evening safari at the Yala National Park and enjoy the wildlife and stunning nature.

  • Visit the Ravana Ella waterfalls on the way
  • Yala Evening Safari

Yala National Park is with light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons spread around 130,000 hectares of protected land. Only 2 out of 5 blocks are open for the visitors. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 species of birds. Safari here is considered as an essential activity during the visit.

Yala to Mirissa

Day 06

After breakfast, continue your journey to Mirissa with en-route stops.

  • Visit several beaches along the way- Coastal Road

Day 07

Mirissa situated a couple of kilometers beyond Weligama on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It was formerly the island’s most famous “undiscovered” beach. Srilanka’s most exciting wildlife attraction – whales especially Blue whales, Bryde’s whale, Sperm whale, Fin whale (December – April) can be seen just a few kilometers offshore. You can swim and also snorkel here. Snorkeling safaris, sport fishing, sea kayaking, cruises around the bay and beyond, surf lessons can be arranged.

Mirissa to Airport

Day 08

  • Visit stilt fishermen & fishmarket in Weligama.
  • Galle City & Dutch Fort

Visit the historic town of Galle and the 17th century Dutch Fort, a UNESCO-protected World Heritage site. Walk around the Galle Fort’s narrow streets lined with Dutch and British colonial-era buildings that are still in use.

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the Airport via High way.

Transfer to the airport for departure.

Colombo Airport to Negombo

Day 01

Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport by our representative and Enjoy a guided city tour of Colombo before heading to Negombo. 

Transfer to Negombo, Sri Lanka’s ‘Little Rome’, this beach town located just a few kilometers away from the Airport. Negombo town offers an interesting introduction to coastal Sri Lankan life, with fish markets, fishing ports, colorful wooden boats, churches, and lagoons.

Evening relax at the beach and enjoy the night.

Negombo to Anuradhapura

Day 02

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel take a Negombo City tour.
It is a historically interesting destination, ancient Dutch Fort as well as several churches constructed during the Dutch Colonial era that is thronged by pilgrims daily and also the Negombo fish market.

Visit Yapahuwa Kingdom.

Transfer to Anuradhapura after the tour

Cycling in Anuradhapura, Mihinthale & Ritigala

Day 03

After having breakfast, transfer (40 Min) to the Anuradhapura ancient city and cycling tour to visit(Duration: 3 Hours). Anuradhapura is with most evocative sights, ruins in South Asia.

It is rich with archaeological and architectural wonders, ancient brick stupas(dagobas), pools & temples from thousand of rule over Sri Lanka.

Mihinthale is the place where Buddhism been introduced during the period of king Devanampiyathissa 1st then transfer to Ritigala SNR (Strict Nature Reservoir). Perfect place for birdwatching.

Sigiriya to Kandy

Day 04

Kandy City, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage & Botanical Garden

Day 05

After having the breakfast visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage,

  • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. (world’s largest collection of captive elephants)

This was set up to save abandoned or orphaned wild elephants and to prevent them from extinction (Especially tuskers). This is the only place in Sri Lanka where you can see many elephants in closed quarters.

  • Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya (Duration: 1 Hour).
  • Visit the Batik factory to see the ancient art of dyeing clothes.
  • Visit a Gem Museum.

Day 06

After having the breakfast visit to the Kandy town

Horton Plain's trekking and Ella by train

Day 07

After the early breakfast from the hotel, transfer to the Horton Plains National Park with the Early Morning departure from the hotel.

Horton Plains National Park consists of a wild stretch of bleak, grasslands on high altitude, the world’s end, waterfalls, cloud forest and also this park is best on the island for exploring endemic species like birdwatching.

Train journey starting from Ohiya Train Station to Ella and enjoy the Picturesque stunning views with nature.

Ella to Bentota via Rathnapura (Gem City)

Day 08

After having breakfast from the hotel visit,

  • Little Adam’s Peak (Duration: 1 Hour).

After visit Ella drive to the Evening safari at the Udawalawe National Park and enjoy the wildlife and stunning nature.

Day 09

Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s south coast. It becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island. This place is rich for a coral on the Bentota river and provides the setting for Sri Lanka’s biggest range of watersports. Also, you can see Turtle Hatchery – Kosgoda just 11 km away at the south of Bentota.

Bentota river safaris at the lagoon is quite famous here.

Day 10

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the Airport.

Transfer to the airport for departure.
