Colombo Airport to Habarana

Day 01

Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport by our representative and transfer to Habarana.

Break for refreshments /Lunch on the way. (As applicable)

Visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple (Duration: 1 Hour) situated at the edge of the town. It is one of the eighth UNESCO world heritage sites in the country and you may find Buddhist arts with hundreds of statues, 5 major caves decorated with fine murals in the country.

Optional activities for the evening

Safari tour to visit the large gathering of elephants in the Minneriya NP or Kaudulla NP

Habarana to Kandy

Day 02

After having the breakfast, climb up to the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Sigiriya rock fortress this morning (Duration: 3 Hours). This ancient rock fortress is the most remarkable royal capital and palace in Sri Lanka from the 3rd century BC. This rock outcrop of Sigiriya is with Amazing water gardens, Paintings, Damsels, Mirror walls and Caves.

Continue your journey to Kandy with en-route stops.

  • Village tour including traditional SriLankan lunch (Duration: 2 Hours – Optional).
  • Visit an exotic Spice Garden in Matale where that you can enjoy the Spice & herbal garden tour with a guide to understand the taste and the aroma of the world-famous spices and learn about the therapeutic uses of local spices and also to see their store.
  • Visit the Batik factory to see the ancient art of dyeing clothes. 

Arrive in the Hill country capital Kandy, the last independent capital of the Sinhalese is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya & Ella By Train

day 03

After having the breakfast visit to the Kandy town,

  • Kandy View Point
  • Temple of the Tooth and the ceremony (Duration: 1 Hour)

This temple was built between the years of 1687 to 1707 by the Kandyan Kings present at the time. It houses a tooth that belonged to ‘Lord Buddha’. Srilanka’s most secret place among Buddhist people.

  • Kandy Lake, Vegetable & Fruit Market.

After visiting the Kandy city, drive through the scenic mountains to the tea-producing town of Nuwara Eliya. En-route visit a tea plantation and a working Tea Factory to see the manufacturing process, tea store.

Sightseeing tour in Nuwara Eliya town and English countryside atmosphere, feel free to walk around Lake Gregory and for some water sports.

Train journey starting from Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya Train Station) to Ella and enjoy the Picturesque stunning views with nature.

Ella to Yala

Day 04

After having breakfast from the hotel visit,

  • Little Adam’s Peak (Duration: 1 Hour).
  • Nine Arch Bridge (Duration: 1 Hour).

After visit Ella drive to the Evening safari at the Yala National Park and enjoy the wildlife and stunning nature.

  • Visit the Ravana Ella waterfalls on the way

Yala National Park is with light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons spread around 130,000 hectares of protected land. Only 2 out of 5 blocks are open for the visitors. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 species of birds. Safari here is considered as an essential activity during the visit.

Yala to Bentota via Galle

Day 05

After having breakfast from the hotel Drive through the coastal road to Bentota via Galle,

  • Visit several beaches along the way
  • Visit Hummanaya Blowhole (Duration 45 min)

This is the only known blowhole in Sri Lanka and it is considered to be the second-largest blowhole in the world

  • Visit coconut tree hill in Mirissa (Duration 45 min)
  • Visit stilt fishermen in Weligama.
  • Galle City & Dutch Fort

Visit the historic town of Galle and the 17th century Dutch Fort, a UNESCO-protected World Heritage site. Walk around the Galle Fort’s narrow streets lined with Dutch and British colonial-era buildings that are still in use.

On the Beach Bentota

Day 06

Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s south coast. It becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island. This place is rich for a coral on the Bentota river and provides the setting for Sri Lanka’s biggest range of watersports. Also, you can see Turtle Hatchery – Kosgoda just 11 km away at the south of Bentota.

Bentota river safaris at the lagoon is quite famous here.

Day 07

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the Airport.

Transfer to the airport for departure.

Colombo Airport to Negombo

Day 01

Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport by our representative and Enjoy a guided city tour of Colombo before heading to Negombo.

Transfer to Negombo, Sri Lanka’s ‘Little Rome’, this beach town located just a few kilometers away from the Airport. Negombo town offers an interesting introduction to coastal Sri Lankan life, with fish markets, fishing ports, colorful wooden boats, churches, and lagoons.

Evening relax at the beach and enjoy the night.

Negombo to Wilpattu

Day 02

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel take a Negombo City tour.
It is a historically interesting destination, ancient Dutch Fort as well as several churches constructed during the Dutch Colonial era that is thronged by pilgrims daily and also the Negombo fish market.

Visit Yapahuwa Kingdom.

Break for refreshments /Lunch on the way (As applicable).

Transfer to Wilpattu after the tour

Wilpattu Full Day Safari

Day 03

Wilpattu is Sri Lanka’s largest national park and in Sinhala, it means ‘natural lakes’. It’s Hidden in the dense, dry woodland. Leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer, wild pigs, and crocodiles. Bird watching you will love Wilpattu with its abundance of dry forest, water, and even coastal birds are here too. This is the 2nd best park after Yala national park in the South.

Cycling in Anuradhapura, Mihinthale & Ritigala

Day 04

After having breakfast, transfer (40 Min) to the Anuradhapura ancient city and cycling tour to visit(Duration: 3 Hours). Anuradhapura is with most evocative sights, ruins in South Asia.

It is rich with archaeological and architectural wonders, ancient brick stupas(dagobas), pools & temples from thousand of rule over Sri Lanka.

Mihinthale is the place where Buddhism been introduced during the period of king Devanampiyathissa 1st then transfer to Ritigala SNR (Strict Nature Reservoir). Perfect place for birdwatching.

Habarana to Kandy

Day 05

After having the breakfast, Transfer to Sigiriya (UNESCO World Heritage Site) visit the Sigiriya rock fortress this morning (Duration: 3 Hours). Kandy to Nuwaraeliya

Day 07

After having the breakfast visit to the Kandy town

Day 08

Adam’s Peak to Kithulgala

Day 09

  • Hike up to Adam’s Peak.

Adam’s Peak also called Sri Pada or Sacred footprint situated at the edge of the southwest of the hill country (altitude – 2234m above sea level, fifth highest peak) and most SriLankan’s sacred pilgrim place. The original buddha story claims that this is the footprint of Buddha himself and it’s at the summit.

The hike up to Adam’s Peak is traditionally made by night and it allows you to reach to the top for dawn and to see the sunrise.

Start time – 2.00 AM at Night

Finish time – 9.00 AM

  • Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Kithulgala.

Kithulgala is a town located in the west of the road Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Kithulgala’s main attraction is white water rafting where you can find rapids of the Kelani river starts from Adam’s Peak.

Other than that it’s popular for sports like confident jump, stream sliding, fall abseiling, jungle trekking, bird watching, and cave exploration.

Kithulgala to Airport

Day 10

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel take a Colombo City tour with the available time.

Visit the Gangaramaya Temple, Manning Market, Pettah and Fort area, Old Parliament Building, BMICH, Independent Square, Townhall, and Lotus Pond.

This city tour depending on the flight times.

The airport will only take one hour from Colombo
